Well, today has been a hoot and a half: beside a frigid low-pressure system squatting over the house (which sucks my temple pain-spikes deep into my brain 'til they almost touch) my new 'puter is on some kind of drugs.
Suddenly, that little bad serial number program of microsoft is running 7-8 minutes or more at 50% CPU usage stopping me from doing anything. Plus, even when I get that shut down, I have menu edge flicker, black skys (brown in SU5) when orbiting, black flickering bars when zooming in autocad...and lots of lockup-like not-responsive waiting.
Any ideas?
