Hi Robert and welcome to the forums! Indeed great!
-
Thanks gaieus Matio and solo,
This is / will be a golf community in North West Montana.
I have plans to do all common areas in sketchup. If I can talk the owners into a large screen computer setup in their sales office, they can have the possible clients interactively experience the community before its built.Did I say Sketchup was a beautiful tool?
Thanks again,
Robert Good

What "media" (tool/software) are you planning to do this with?
-
Currently, the sketchup viewer, setup on a 24" or greater sized monitor with logitech's space navigator or similar device.
Just thinking out load about this scenario:
The end user may not be too efficient using this configuration, but I can train one of the sales associates and they can do the tour for the client. I think that would be a better way to go. -

Sounds like a good idea Robert.
It should not cost too much to setup and will be a nice touch for the buyers. -
I always wished the SU Viewer had a "full window" mode... Does it support scenes, BTW? (Actually I have it on my PC - just never really had the need to use it - I should try).

Robert, nice job on the renderings Are you using Piranesi also?

Im not sure if it supports scenes, I will have to investigate that too.
About 6 months ago I did a project for Flagler College in St. Augustine Florida. Actually for a Landscape Architect on the project. I created 3 buildings and the common areas. She presented it with the Sketchup Viewer. The President of the colleged loved the presention so much, he had the Landscape Architect repeat her demo many many times for new arrivals to the meeting. The college approved 'all' the landscape architects concepts no questions asked. She, the landscape architect, said she was walking on water, thanks to the awesome visualization capabilities of Sketchup.Did I day I love Sketchup?

Robert these are great. The first thing that struck me however is that your images are from different perspectives but the mountain background is the same.
Please keep us updated

ehhmm. correct. It was the only background the owner gave me to work with. Since its off season for similar shots, I had to settle for the same background.
Good Catch, and thanks for the input.
