I will test out the terrain brushes later and get some plants and more realism, maybe scale down the skies of doom too.

I think that neighborhood has a BIG ant problem...Love Vue Been playing with it for 2 years now..

Love this render, it has certainly got some feeling.
I would like to see the wires between the poles just to add something a little extra.

Dylan, unfortunately the lines have no wieght and thus Vue does not render them, I could draw them in or do an overlay in PS.

Stinkie, I don't understand what you meant about vegetation on mountains. Out here in the Sonoran desert the only vegetation on the mountains is more rocks. It looked like home to me . And I thought the render looked good because of the dramatic sky rather than in spite of the dramatic sky.
I like drama. I see clear blue skys about 11.5 months each year. Drama drama, I must have more drama.

Oh and I forgot to mention we have some scorpions about the size of those ants and the gila monsters are even larger.

Hmm. Guess I'm used to 'European looking' mountains. The ones Solo used looked rather, er, exotic to me. Not too many deserts in Belgium.

The desert is a beautiful place.
For 15 minutes after sunrise and 15 minutes before sunset.
We are also trying to figure out global warming. At 117F in the summer a few more degress are just as unbearable as a few less degrees.
I am from Pennsylvania which is about the greenest spot in the nation. Growing up there I never thought about the smell of trees. When my dad died I went back and as I got off the planes, I didn't know what I was smelling until I realized it was the plants and the trees.
