Socket.so sketchup 8 and 13

I am looking for socket.so download. sketchup 8 and 13.
Where to find them?

I'd suggest you thoroughly test it. I added it to both, it loaded, and Ruby responded correctly when I called a method with incorrect arguments.

Last week I learnt about unofficial sketchup builtin SKSocket. Although not fully documented I was wondering what are the drawbacks, if any?
