Gunlocke Chair
-
Did a model of my kitchen / dining chairs. Found four of these in a second hand store. The originals are solid walnut. They still have the manufacturers paper label on the bottom of the seats. Were made by "The Gunlocke Chair Co." Wayland N.Y. Interesting side note.... all the chairs have inventory tags from a west Texas university library on them also. Guessing they were the original purchasers. Got the model as close as I was able to measure things. Cheers

Good work on a complicated piece. How did you do the back panel? Those can be especially vexing.

Thanks David. The back piece was the only thing to give me a little trouble. Got the basic shape drawn flat and bent the curve with shape bender. Ran into trouble trying to use RoundCorner on the bent shape. Couldn't get it to work on the bent shape without destroying the geometry no matter how large I scaled it up. Ended up backtracking and running RoundCorner on the flat piece and then bending with ShapeBender.
