Work in progress

Frank Gehry, the architect responsible for the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao, Spain, has also designed some quirky furniture. Gehry is Canadian by birth and, not surprisingly, a hockey fan. He calls this piece his Power Play Lounge Chair, maybe because both hockey sticks and this chair are made from ash. The two back bends are the easy part. Everything is woven together somehow to form the seat. Fortunately for me, the listing for this chair on 1stdibs.com has some good, clear photos.
Enjoy.

Thanks, tuna. I'm always intrigued by interesting pieces by famous architects and designers. This one is quite a challenge, so it may take a while to finish it.
Best,
