Saw this chair recently on the 1stdibs.com web site. The original was designed in 1939 by Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen, two of the most important American designers and architects of the mid-20th century. It's called the Kleinhans chair, because Eames and Saarinen did it for a room in the Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo, N.Y. Luckily for me, 1stdibs.com had a good side view, so I could trace all the shapes I needed.
Best,

Nice model.
I've looked at the mentioned website, a great resource for modeling ideas. I couldn't resist to model this 580.000 $ table(I bet they didn't know "follow me" 1963...)

Glad you like the 1stdibs web site. Nice job on the texturing and render for that table. Is it Travertine marble?

Yes, I've used the shop image for a quick texturing and the description calls it Travertine

And the real one probably weights 1000 pounds. Probably best to keep it on the ground floor.
