Re-using Parts of Components

Hi everybody :
Question : Can a "part" of a component be copied to use in another component. I made this bed. But......as an after-thought, I should've saved the "pineapple" as a separate entity...So I could use it again. I just want to copy it, and insert it into another piece of (component) furniture. garystan

Nothing like answering your own question......
I found the answer....by accident. I selected the pineapple (from within the component), left-clicked it. There was a prompt about keeping the same scale. I just selected YES. And SAVED it by itself. I wasn't sure about the SCALE prompt. garystan
