I find the whole premise of this quite disturbing.
There are so many games about killing that people don't seem to notice anymore.
Now you you have one where you have some children to protect from serial killers!
So loss of children only results in less points.
In fact, how many children you lose is a major part of your score.
There are only so many breasts, nipples, vulva's, strangulations, beheadings, brain explosions, blood splatters etc etc etc that you can watch before they become normal and non stimulating. Earlier today while driving through town I noticed the C and A lingerie ads on the bus stops and thought to myself, If only those had been around when I was a kid I wouldn't have needed those grainy black and white bra ads in the sunday paper.
Give em full blown close up porn on their phone at 13 and see how long it takes before they need to get into auto erotica to get their rocks off.
Give them full blow gun porn and the right to bare arms and ........
Go for a diet of Zombie TV, vampires and reality shows

Once upon a time we played with toys guns, we learnt that the real version of those toys would hurt our friends. We understood the consequences of our actions. We understood accountability.

I agree with Box. Designers and creative people today, should think about the content their are packing in sometimes very well thought and subtle exterior...It is not always about the money and fame, it is not always about making kids smart, but cold (or cool?). Just like they favorite serial killers?
