Nothing terribly complicated here, but they were kind of fun to do. These are for a show and they're planning to turn a local airfield into an afghan airbase. Cannot bring in sand because of the threat of it getting into the planes' engines so they're using fine gravel.. which I tried to represent. SketchUp/Thea/Pshop

So are these kind of concept art/visual developments?
If I may suggest, maybe add a few soldiers.
What I like about Sketchup is you can also use it to do storyboards for tv, films and games.

yeah, more or less. soldiers, etc would definitely spruce up the image, but I can't show anything that wouldn't actually be in the scene. they really just want to see the elements that they're purchasing/building/etc.
