I just came across the gStick on Kickstarter, here, http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/529738175/gstick-mouse

It looks that it could be more comfortable than a mouse to work with especially in SkatchUp and other drawings apps. It also looks to be quite robust. The bottom line for me is that a pencil feels more natural than a mouse / bar of soap (using a Mighty mouse currently) when it comes to doodling.

Yes, it should be cool. I will know how cool it is when they send me one from the first production run for testing.

I have asked about the Gstick's ability to orbit with a 'click' of the scroll wheel and the the guys developing the gStick have now produced a short 5 min video showing the device being used in conjunction with SketchUp.

Current cost is $35. However the project has to reach its target. I think $35 is quite reasonable for a device like this. I hope Gordon and his team get to make it happen. Anyone interested in pledging to get a Gstick need to sign up and pledge here, http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/529738175/gstick-mouse

Thanks Kris. I appreciate your confidence and I hope others back this project. I've taken a personal interest in the Gstick and would like the see Gordon make a success of it. I'd say he will develop the device whether or not he reaches the target. It will be very close to the line!

I shared on social networks... It's a great price. It will cost $100 when it's main stream.

Yeah, the $35 price is good and it was even better when it was $25. As you say, these types of devices would run to around $100.
