SKP crash after running a plugin

I still have an issue with a plugin using follow me method.
Depending on the way the selection is done, SKP crashes or correctly processes the tooling.
Attached a .zip file containing a.txt file, explaining the plugin and how to proceed.
Use the test_US.skp file to test, following a way of selection of test_US1 or test_US2.
Pilou (on french forum) adviced me to submit this issue to Sdmitch.
