This is where I ski every week. 20 minutes drive from my office. Not the alps, but pretty amazing open boundary ski area!

If that was 20 minutes drive from my office, let me tell ya, that slope would be my new office!!
Had a big snowfall on the Pennines last night, now it's all melting.

Thanks Pete. That is a 30 second exposure at f2.8 and ISO 1600. It was dark enough that I could not see much through the view finder and had to bracket the focus to get a sharp image. Normally even light breeze action on an exposure that long will blur the photo, but it was one of those soft windless snow falls and branch movement was damped by the weight of the snow.

It is still winter!
Skied yesterday in 20" of powder.......Too fun! Now working Saturday to make up the day.
