Treemetrics should be of interest to many of you that use timber! I came across this new Irish company, Treemetrics, which have developed what looks to be a very unique and 'green' technology that helps conserve trees. With normal harvesting methods up to 20% of value can be lost.
The system allows for accurate, 3D Forest Inventory, Optimised Cross Cutting and is able to Predict Timber Recovery.
