      Hello

      I'm trying to build a winch cable. With the SU 8 and SP 3.2 (or is 3.1?)

      After searching http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=24741 (thanks to hpnisse !) and more, I put a motor pulley and a upper pulley.

      cable winch.jpeg

      And i'm using the script above to make rope / cable:

      ontouch{|t,s,p|
      connect(t,"ball") if frame==0
      }

      Works fine if the Density of big sphere keeped in 0.2 g/cm3.

      But the rope / cable is broken when the Density is changed to the steel density of 7.5 g/cm3
      The same happens if I draw an object of greater volume in replacing the large sphere.

      So, in this momment, I can't to simulate a real winch or elevator.

      How can I feed sketchyphysics with data type as shear load, maximum load traction ...?
      What can I do avoid a broken rope / cable?
