Help with 'Joint Settings' not appearing in Sketchyphis.

Hi folks,
Having downloaded Sketchyphysics several times, and in the correct manner and place (as advised here); I can't access Joint Settings.
It just doesn't appear when I click on the dropdown menu. Also, when running in 'Play' I can't move the view without it crashing.
I am running Sketchup v 8.0.14345 on Mac OS X v10.6.8 on an Imac.Can anyone offer any advice? Many thanks in advance.

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit?
