Input Devices and Mice
-
I'm looking for a different shaped mouse. It seems something more horizontal would fit my hand better. Also been looking at my Wacom pen again...can't seem to see how that would fit in with CAD and Sketchup. My hand's hurting.
Been searching posts. If anyone wishes to list their favorite input devices here, please do.
[FYI the "standard" scroll mice I have been using: Razer Copperhead and Orochi. I use SteerMouse and set speed and sensitivity very high. Really good but for the hand position I tend to use]
For starters the logitech MX looks more ergonomic. Anyone like that one?

Been using the MX Laser for years (can't remember how many!) after giving up on a Wacom tablet. Very happy with it and will replace it with the latest equivalent as it looks like the batteries are approaching the end of their life. Unless Win8 brings some generic Kinetic type solution that really works. -
RE for starters. Been using a Logitek LX8 Cordless Laser. Simple enough guess 5 button mouse. Easy enough on the hand. Nothing fancy and is cheap. Logitek Setpoint software sometimes a problem. Like now. Trying to get the buttons i customized to work in sketchup. It's usually ok though. everybody says dont load in the Logitek Software but I like using left side button for control and right for shift which gives me easy 12 choices combined with the 3 on the wheel.
