For a very small team that design and work / build in a garage it looks like they might well get the LIT into production .... but again, there have been some 'garage starts' in the past that grew to be quite successful companies!

VIDEO – Lit Motors unveils functioning prototype of its C-1 self-balancing electric motorcycle

Just a point. Some body asked in the blog, why it has to be two wheels! The answer should be obvious. For a 'titler' with three wheels, there would have to be lot more mechanisms, like in the Carver, now defunct.

I think the C-1 could well come into common use if they can produce it for $16K or so. I've worked out the end delivery cost to my door, taking into account the Electric Vehicle Sub (over here), to be in the region of €9K! Its definitely on the cards at this price ...... and what fun 'leaning' into those bends and trying to avoid 'baby elephants' 😉
