I saw that on Facebook this weekend, very interesting, great result but it's a lot of work for one image, hope he charged the client enough.

That was my impression too.
I thought with good rendering software and less post pro you could achieve similar results, but there are some things that he is doing that could certainly be really useful.
I still like what he accomplishes though.
