    Hi Everybody,

I'm working on this Roman style Penthouse. It's a new challenge for me because I'm more of a 'modern minimalistic type'. But I alwaus wanted to do something with Pillars. So after some inspiration from a pic i came across on Freshomes it think, I made this Roman style Penthouse. Still not sure about the furniture. Love some comments on the model and render.
Model made in Sketchup. Re-assembled in Cinema 4D ( because of huge size of pillars πŸ˜„ ) and rendered with vray.

Beautiful image, Twan. The juxtaposition of the modern furniture and the classical architecture works for both. If you really want the classical architecture tobe correct, the columns should be pulled in so the facia above aligns with the neck of the capital, so it acts as an entablature.

              My avatar is an anachronism.

Very nice render, technically speaking. πŸ‘
These capitals, stand for nothing, being ridiculously out of scale. It's the area around these capitals out of scale.
The english language barrier again ... sorry.
These columns are designed to be closer to each other. These ancient guys where great designers.
A different capital, a post modern creasy design could work though. An industrial looking one.
