Love to modelling and texturing, but flower bed on right foreground just is so distraction and over saturated that it kills the amazing work you have done.

Thanks Pete, that was the daft wife's fault she liked that one better: now you know why I don't take any notice of her usually!

I hear you, my wife is the same, firstly she is a certified kitchen designer and she insisted on glass kitchen cabinet doors, now we need to stack everything neatly and clean more whenever we get a guest, as they can see everything in our cabinets...daft decision.

Hello fabiorossi, I used a HDR for lighting and it's terrible again! I stopped using them for this very reason, if only shadows and HDR's worked together. I need to stop rushing the PP too!
            Thanks John

Redone, 2 new renders, 1 HDR & 1 SU sun. Combined in Photoshop. I give up πŸ˜•

that's just my opinion but the shadows are more natural in no-textured sketchup model than lighting in rendered image; however it's a nice model and render

on my experience, you can not light a scene only with hdri, when you add an hdri map the sun should contribute to lighting, hdri makes glasses more real and the shaders looks better; what's about your render engine?

I'm not sure about the setting but a few time ago I used this type of combination and this is the result by v-ray 1.5
