Grange Road Surgery
-
This once family home is now a surgery. When I look at old buildings it's the workmanship that went into the construction of them that I see. This got me thinking, would it be possible to construct these today?, not Building regulations/fire regulations ect. but construction skills. I doubt you'd be able to find the people with the skills of the "olden days" Ornate plaster work, wood work, stone masonry, geometric floor tiling ect ect. Just thinking aloud.

it'd be easier to find someone who can craft such homes in Europe... in the US, it's especially hard to find someone with those skills.. the only one my family has found was a guy that built a TuliKivi for us in an all-American basement.
Everything requires extensive thinking and planning, and it's unfortunately not part of the quick money-making construction strategy anymore.
Great model, by the way... I have a lot of similar-styled ones that are always incomplete
What renderer are you using, by the way?

Hello Alexander. I'm using V-ray. As you say it's such a shame that money motivation has replaced pride and craftsmanship!! I can't ever see that trend reversing.
