      Hello,

Is it possible to name joints?
It's really difficult to control complex models with the default names.

      Regards,
      Alain

Are they not components? If so, can you not rename them?

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

          Hi, mitcorb,
Are you talking about joints or objects?
I'm talking about joints and I just saw a tuto where joints are named in the SP's UI windows.
Mine are named something like piston268544 and I don't see where to change it.
          Regards,

At this point it's not possible to do it directly, the entity name is just for show.

SP has it's internal names in entity attributes so the ID's stay the same and it wont come to overlapping or missing connections.
But if you really want to rename them then get Attribute Manager plugin for SU, and then edit the joint names with it.
