Hey guys heres my WIP for my latested image, thought i'd show a bit of my process. Essentially its a steam-punk type turbine assembly platform within an old ruined church. The last image is an inital rough out of the mood i'm looking for the piece, still to add textures to the turbine, a welding guy (in Sang's location), some puddles and moss etc and bump maps to the current textures. Everything bar the turbine is modelled in SU and rendered with Vray for SU.

    Cheers

Or give him a sniper rifle and put him in the bell tower πŸ˜‰
Now seriously, interesting combination - a ruined church and a turbine. Where did that idea come from?
Oh, and I like it. Looking forward to updates!

cheers guys, mapping is done in sketchup with a bit of care & patience πŸ˜‰ textures are a mixture of my own photo's and stuff from cgtextures.com . Those in the image are just diffuse textures, i've yet to add reflections and bump but im working on it

I guess its a matter of taste, but im happy with the scale of the turbine and church πŸ˜„

Very cool! The render looks like something out of a superhero movie where the guy goes to some abandoned building and begins working on overtaking the world. πŸ˜„ Love it.
