Why is the beam size of influence?
-
Hi,
I created a disk with a central hinge. Near the border of the disk, on the disk, there is a second hinge connected to some beam in the neighbourhood of the disk. The central hinge is given a small acceleration through the UI.
It depends on the length of the beam if the system is running or stuck.
What makes the length of the beam being of influence on the system?
Thanks,
Henk

You might check the worldscale in the Physics settings...that and turn on readback geometry.

Hi,
I'm using Sketchup 7.1 with Sketchy Pysics 3.1 with dutch language.
I cannot find something similar like 'worldscale' or 'readback geometry'.
I suppose menu's topology are identical between language versions.
Can you tell what menu/submenu number from left/top is involved? Thanks
Henk

The first is in the plugins pulldown
The second is in the context click for a physics object. Hope this helps. Dewey!
