Cloudy day chalet

Thorian,
Great model and great render, however the sky and the render do not feel right together as the sky is overcast and gloomy yet the light in the render is warm. I assume you added the sky in post processing, try another sky with a sun position closer matching the shadows from render, or better still Use a Sky hdri and that way you can match the sky to render as well as getting cloud reflections on water and other reflective surfaces.
I did a project recently that included a similar view, I used Thea and a panorama as image based lighting (hdri), (renders were not good enough however and did not get the job)

Solo, If your renders werent good enough then the rest of us are totally screwed!!!
-
i agree with dermotcoll!!! what chance do we mortals have, if they say that render which u showed is not good enough???
-
thanks for your answers,,,, solo, the background you used is an HDRI?, because I have tried to place several times and always goes wrong at me and I can not locate, if you could tell me how I would appreciate it

@thorian_oscuro chromatic aberration feels far too strong and like solo said backdrop and used illumination do not match well. Underwater caustics would be great - but I guess that would require a sunny day. Interesting scene that would shine with a little love.

WTF! Mate what do you mean, firstly that is a stunning render and second - did you do that much work with the aim of getting the job? Christ who beat you to the punch? Stack studio or someone like that? Man we ARE all screwed!
