My Models (~goldenfrog~)

[GoldenFrog]

Yes. No spammers. Except for the ones who say they love you... My sister is there, but she says it's not very active. That's why you see her models on my account now.

[NOLASaintTM]

I think you might see my semi-reitrement from the 3DWH in the next day or two if i decide to switch.

[GoldenFrog]

Ok, I stand prepared...

[NOLASaintTM]

You think i should switch? Im so torn...

[GoldenFrog]

No. A really definate no. It's a pretty quiet community, don't leave the warehouse for that.

[NOLASaintTM]

But i hate all the spammers getting my models removed, never to return XD. I really don't know...

Hence the save button

[NOLASaintTM]

Well, im gonna trial 3Diva and =then make a decision

[GoldenFrog]

If you must leave for something, leave for Blender. 3dvia is just a mocking of Sketchup, but worse. Of all the things don't leave for that.

[NOLASaintTM]

Ok. I will try it.

[NOLASaintTM]

But does blender have a 3D Community?

[GoldenFrog]

Ok. It's fun. It has particle systems and liquid sims and is very powerful. It can handle hundreds of thousands of polygons and still be as fast as ever. Good choice I'm pretty sure it does have a community, but I haven't joined it. Hm...good question.

[NOLASaintTM]

Why don't you see my latest model!

[GoldenFrog]

Rated it

[NOLASaintTM]

Thanks. Lets start that thread!

[GoldenFrog]

Got it ready.

the models are ok but I would work at rounding them out a bit more making the lines flow around the overall shape. It looks like a car you would get in the 80's but keep at it and adding to the small details they will make it stand out.

[GoldenFrog]

Absolutly agree...I struggle so with curves and smooth shapes

[liam887]

you should download some of the plugins and try some easier models rather than a car to perfect your techniques.

[GoldenFrog]

Hm...Good idea. Think I'm too ambitious?

PS Saw your models--Most impressed.
