Great renders... They look very similar to Thea renders.

Thanks Oli, in fact I tested out a couple of lighter shades for the backdrop but it brightens up the car paint as well, which doesn't look as good.
And there's one which the backdrop was seperatly adjusted using an alpha map.
                      It's a matter of preference I guess. πŸ˜„

Lol! In fact it's an imitation of Thea which I call it "Thea Style". πŸ˜‰

                              These first two are brilliant!

The second are nice but mate they need some of your artistic skill and more dramatic lighting!

The bike in particular I love and would love to get a hold of the model as rarely things grab me as wanting to be rendered!

I saw a stunning render of a honda early F1 (?) an open wheeler anyway, the model was from the honda site somewhere and needed to be assembled from pieces. I did it then lost the darn model and haven't had time to download and rebuild. Like the bike it offered up so many nice photographic opportunities!

The Qosmio laptop was in fact model by Sergio in SU6 format and haven't ask him yet about the angle issue.
As far as I'm concern, the tilted angle is for better effeciency, saving much render area/time and enable front and back view as well. πŸ˜„

Btw different FOV or focal length was used for both front and back.

                                    Wow Richard! Thanks mate!
Love to be more dramatic with the lights, but you know, different rendering apps have their capabilities. So it's that much I can do with KT for now.
And love to see some F1 esp from you and always enjoy rendering while we still have the passion to. πŸ˜‰

                                      Dspace,

These are some of my favorites. I had just the opposite comment of Richard, I like the lighting effect.
Its soft and has a bit of mistery. I guess its all in what your intention are. BTW what type of lighting did you use: hdri, emitter,..? The color rendition is nice.

Did you model the bike and car in sketchup?

Mate I'm sure that a few well placed lights and good camera angle would produce some very nice shots of the scene! To suggest it be a limit of the software is not pushing your abilities to work with it and get something special!

I'll try and find that old open wheeler and reconstruct it and post it back here, such a great subject!
