      nice render majid. ๐Ÿ‘
Displacement works much better with B&W 16 bit images. These images should look almost grey, no contrast at all, the middle grey tone is crucial its the neutral. 8 bit images tend to cause steps effects.

it is a raw sketch of a wip (also after next two weeks, that i'll be away on a trip). however su is not good on curve texturing at all, it was a bit hard for me , but for the nest version, certainly will improve it, maybe adding more detail,...
here I was seeking a late sunset mood, so increased the overall contrast in Thea, no post pro.

Don't be so sure... the whole SU concept is against this. Its about UV mapping. Except... well, have you heard about 'ptex'?

Ptex sounds like a great concept, who knows if it will find a way to SU and wider... As the Ptex library is now available as open source under the BSD. Just dream... no more UV mapping troubles.

Ptex sound great as UVmapping for me is a nightmare still (so lazy to learn Max or Blender mapping, and generraly no need for an architec ๐Ÿ˜‰ )....

I'm still amazed at the speed of the BSD engine, here is one similar to a series of integrated bathroom instalations that I'm getting done for a catalogue, this is half the size of original (resized for posting) as they need to be 300dpi for print.
This render took 1 minute 49 seconds, unbelievable.

I'd like to show the actual renders and designs but I'm bound by an NDA for the moment, but as soon as it goes live I'll link it to this post. (modelled with Sketchup)

Wow Pete! That is one cool lookin' coffee pot. Could be a little messy tho' with half the side missing. Still it is a great render.

Another render I did the other day, just playing around with a few materials and DOF.

LOl, I guess so, but this is not the actual product, this is one I tested with, it's missing lots of detail like the actual (name branded) fixtures and plumbing.
