Another rainy day...

I agree, the second image is superb Tom.
I climbed a tree just like the one in the back as a kid.

Throw in some people with umbrellas and I think that would really sell the feel of the rain day. Great use of color all around!~

Very nice renders, Tom.
Keep them coming.
Cheers!

Tom,
Fantastic work. My only comments would be that the people do not blend to the first two renders. They do however go well in the last image. Yes, umbrellas would convey the feeling of it being wet and rainy. Also the cars (especially the white one) take away from the image. Possibly something a little higher quality would help. The trees are stunning! Great work!

I really like the rendering of the second one but I love the third one. Sometimes there is just no substitute for a watercolor. Just seems to fit the model's feel. Just seems like a place where everybody knows everybody and nobody needs to lock their cars when they go inside.
Thanks for sharing these.

It seems that with the board update shuffle I have lost a post.........
Tom, these are great. You just keep getting better.

Hy Tom, these are relly nice, and I like the overall feel of the image, but I would loose the cars, because they poke me in the eye They are not made in the same style, and stand out. If you loose the cars there would be less time defined image and would be more pleasant for the eye.
i really like your work,
cheers

Well geez , thanks a bunch! And yeah, next down day I'm gonna go searching for some peeps and cars with more detail. Here's a revised DWC base on some kind comments over on the Twilight forum...and a new summer scene (I didn't get the level of "the gloomy is about over" that I wanted in the DWC so will redo when I get time). More C&C please...?

That second image is absolutely stunning with one criticism - lose the car!!!!
If it wasnt there it would be magical - you are indeed a master of the craft!!! -
Yep...I agree. Cars are a way of adding selling the idea of a space being welcoming and people are there. Your images are plenty welcoming enough without them. It helps renders for many people...in your case your renders are so good by themselves you absolutely don't need them. I also think the people you use in yourwork, work perfect for your watercolor style.
Always a joy to see your work.
