Numbthumb thanks for your encouraging comment
ken28875 I always try to make my models as accurate and "real life" as possible, with aircraft I am fond of trying to duplicate a particular plane flown by a named pilot, not always possible ...but i try so to answer your question as much detail. markings etc as possible
Ultimatez 32 I had a look at your thread your models look cool thanks for sharing -
As requested by scottpara here are some of the "doings" under the skin, thanks for asking I will endeavour to include this type of detail in future....enjoy

Well, from what I have seen so far, Dolphus I am expecting nothing less from you this time.
I was wondering how dcauldwell´s Sopwith Pup was coming along?

What are all the antennae on the elevators? Looks like a spy plane used to do radio intercepts.
-
Roger the antenna are exaggerated in the SKETCH drawing that I posted this plane is nothing as fancy as a spy plane here is a picture ans it's specs:-
-
Here is one off the two jet turbine motors
-
Hm...I don´t dare to imagine the cockpit interior...
-
No kidding...this detail is fantastic
-
Thanks chaps ...here is the first cockpit element the ...joystick
-
Pilot's view looking forward (Gun-sight removed for clarity)

Wonder what the ape agency has to say....... Mike we will only hunt drug dealers etc....
I am undecided about including aircrew..... -
Made some progress with the fuselage ans as requested hidden geometry
-
Some glimpses at another WIP it is a ----------------Helicopter....this is the tail boom and rotor with its transfer gearbox.........who can supply the chopper name? .... I would be very surprised if you guys get this one
-
Excellent work, Dolphus! Do you ever take a break?
My guess would also be one of those Bell47 M.A.S.H helicopters. I am undecided about the version - H, maybe G. -
Come..come lads we arn't really trying maybe the pic will help ....should be dead easy now
-
Top of the class James it is a Alouette II or will be soon!
-
My first attempt at the tail assembly was more imagineering that engineering but since posting yesterday I got better reference materials so here goes with the improver tail assembly for the Alouette II
-
Wow dolphus. Is there anything you can't model? One of these days I almost expect to open up this forum and see you decided to built an aircraft carrier bolt for bolt as just a little something different.
-
Thanks joppermann but I am not very good at ships, although i would like to model them i just cant seem to be able to get good plans and I rather leave cars etc to others .....thanks for you comment
-
LOL. I was just kidding you. I was merely refering to your amazing attention to detail. I just found it funny that you decided to work on an amazing aircraft and partway through...you nonchalantly say "oh ya...by the way I was playing around with this too." And it is just as nice as the other model. Thats all...just remarking on that not only are you modeling great aircraft, but helicopters, trains, etc.
Thanks again sharing your work!
