Headphones from Newbie

Hello everybody,
This is a modelling-try of my AKG headphones I made in the last two days.
I'm working with SketchUp for about a month now. Did a few other things which I will post eventually.
There's still some work to do about the hard edges and the materials in the model.
Tell me what you think about it.edit: Sry, just recognized, that there's a part missing!

OK, this part is only rendered when ungrouped! Is this a known issue?

I'm using Vraycool model! great attention to detail. I'm a big fan of post-pro so I'd touch the levels up a bit, get the whole range of greys.
about the grouping, I found out vray ignores groups inside groups, they just dissapear. The answer is either to explode, or to make components, which vray does render if they are inside others.
