Good find Dylan At β¬2.40 or so, this is really great value. I think I will get some use out of this app. The first thought is for survey photo annotation use. BTW, I am now able to make landline / mobile calls suing Skype without having to be on WiFi, a real money saver in these hard times;)

I have it on my ipod touch and my conclusion is that the screen is just too small
Also, the concept isn't that new. I ran similar software 5 years ago an a Asus winmobile pocketPC. I think it was a pocket version of Artrage if I remember correctly.A really good app would be Sketchup for Iphone, but I don't think that will ever happen as IphoneOs is a competitive OS to google's own Android.
Although...Google did release G Maps for Iphone, so maybe ... -
If Google can make money doing it they probably will

What about realising Sketchup's inference engine in javascript and using SVG (or maybe better O3D) for the graphics. This is what the Google Building Maker uses. It would work on nearly ANY operating system....
At the current time, I would not like to edit big projects in a javascript app because of performance. But the increasing use of cloud computing by google makes me hopeful. It would be possible in far future and Building Maker is a step in this direction.I think the intuitive way of modeling in Sketchup is idealfor portable touch devices. But a real "iPhone" or "Android" version of Sketchup would be similar to the Sketchup for Linux requests and would need in some way a completely new development.
