There is no problem to works with Moi and SU
Moi has 3ds and SKP format export
(3ds here textured in SU)
It's a moi object imported as SKP file textured in SU

It was created for a pen Tablet for artists
Advantage : you can use it anywhere even in a lounge chair!
(I don't know many Nurbs prog who are like this
)
But of course you can use also a mouse if you want
Ps It is friendly as Sketchup spirit user interface

Most likely, as MoI doesnt have any photo texturing tools.
