Trying to match Hypershot....
-
I've seen alot of good car renders here and it seems the majority of them have used Hypershot. So I was curious about what kind of output I could get with Vray. What do you guys think?
-
Well, apart from the background image (hdri?) being a bit unnaturally blurry (there's no place for DOF here I guess), the car render itself looks pretty nice! (Maybe just the windows - why are they not transparent at all?)
-
Thanks Gai, no dof, should of used a higher res hdri and the windows are slightly transparent, could of upped the transparency some more but I was trying to make them look tinted and theres no interior in the car which I was trying to hide.

Yeah, I would1ve also guessed that the interior was missing. Still, at least here, tinted windshileds and side windows in the front are not allowed so that's what suddenly was striking for me. But as said, otherwise the render is really nice (reflections of the background, material shininess whatnot)
I didn't mean that you were aiming for DOF of course. If there was a much closer shot of a detail on the car, the blurred background wouldn't be so striking for sure.

hi, nice render..just add more light to it next time...try to bake the environment...u can do that by keeping backplate at same brightness and increasing environment brightness....its not the case that u will always get what you want from hdri light source...try different studio light setups to match up with the Backplate..have fun..!!
