Looking for ruby that deletes extra lines on a plane

Isn't there a ruby that will delete extra lines on a plane. For example when you export an object from a modeler that creates all the geometry in triangles. So a square will come in with an extra diagonal line to break it into 2 triangles. I seem to recall seeing a ruby to delete those extra lines but I can't recall the name of it.
