Lights in su2pov3

I cannot insert lights using su2pov
When I select either spotlight or pointlight from the menu, the properties dialog box appears, and I click OK. The su2pov layer is created. I click a location in the model for the location of the light, and the second and third points depending on the type of light, but no light is created.
The su2pov_*.skp files for the lights are in the plugins folder.
If I open the sample file, windmill.skp, I can change the properties of the existing lights, but cannot create new ones.

Try this patch (delete old script and replace with this one).
It's a major bug that occurs only when you have not SU2KT installed...
