Kitchen Render | SU to Kerkythea
-
Hi everyone. I haven't posted anything in the forum in quite sometime- thinking about it, this is my first render in months. I took a kitchen from the sketchup warehouse- I did have to edit it and work it into my own model. Minor post pro editing.
-
This is by far the best Kerkythea rendering I have seen.
The realism is amazing.Did you model the curtains yourself?
They look too good to be sketchup.Cheers,
Kwistenbiebel -
Thanks K.
No I did not model the curtains, I downloaded them some time ago from archibase.net but, I did have to edit them to make them work for rendering. I'll post the model if the size is not too large.

I agree with Kwisten: best KT render ever. Thanks for the curtains!
-
very nice render, thanks for the curtain...
-
cheers for posting curtains they look great. your render looks like a photo, well done
-
Impressive render mate.
Thanks for the awesome curtains.Have you tried Twilight yet? I'd be very interested in seeing this scene done with it.
-
Thanks for all the comments ! I know curtains can sometime be the downfall of a good render. I work on MAC OS X and don't think Twilight is available for it yet. Looking forward to that though, integration is so much easier than exporting etc.

Great work like always, congratulations and thanks for the courtains.
-
Great render, would like to try it with Twilight!
Thanks for the curtains
-
Awesome...truly! Thanks for sharing. Would love to see the Raw Kerky. Rendered with MLT I presume? How long did it cook?
-
twilight mac version coming out soon apparently
-
Wow!!!!!!!!! At first I thought it was another hoax like the sunny hallway with leather chairs. Nothing at all gives away the fact that it is a render! Can I see the render before photoshop?
-
Here is the render before photoshop. Earthmover, I did render this MLT for about 72 hours. I really wish I had a faster machine... like a Mac Pro dual quad core
-
Very impressive.
-
72 hours???? You have the patience of a saint.
Awsome render and great ps'ing.
Thanks for the great curtains. -
/ditto & congrats
I don't recall seeing your previous stuff. Think you could repost some of your previous work for our benefit?
