      Can it be done?

      I know Sketchup.active_model.export "filename.dxf" exports a 3d drawing.

Isnt a 2d dxf the same as a 3d dxf but with no z height?

Not quite - exporting using File > Export > 2D Graphic > .dxf uses the current view only flattened along the Camera direction.

          Hi

Jim, just a wild stab at it. Can you export a "parallel projection"?

No, it looks like you can do "only" export a 3d model, or write an image from a plugin. Thanks.
