Here's a pool and patio I designed, modeled and rendered for a client of mine. God willing, we should be ready to start building this in about a month and a half. I also modeled the lounge chairs and sofas in sketchup.

I intended to try and render the whole project in Modo 401, but it just wasn't happening. I managed a test render of the patio furniture, but even that was grueling. Back to my usual workflow. Sketchup>Max>Vray>Photoshop

It's nothing too special...but it was a lot of fun! β˜€

Your clients should be very happy.
The only thing I can see that looks off is the waterfall - there doesn't appear to be any splashing or any turbulance where it is meeting the pool

            My avatar is an anachronism.

Man, I have the perfect photoshop brush for doing the waterfall splashfoot (one of Ron's) and I just forgot. πŸ‘Š Oh well, the renders are already sent off to the client. They will be passing them along to HOA (Homeowner's Association) for approval, then to the neighbors for sign off and my scale drawings go to the township so they can tell us which engineers we need. Then the renders get passed out to all the pool companies for bidding. A lot of hoops to jump through, but in a way it's good marketing for me. πŸ˜„ I actually got this job because a client saw a sketchup render of mine and wanted me to design for them......which in turn may lead to my first six figure installation job!

While you're thinking about the money, could you care to send me a link to those PS brushes you mention?

They would be of great use to me πŸ˜„
