Very nice, looks to me like the kind of precast concrete structure that was popular in the early 70s. Columns however, look a little on the thin side. Did you model something previously built?

Just noticed that the jpeg is screened. PS?

Nice! I didn't notice that until you pointed it out! Now I can't stop seeing it. Sort of like the FedEx arrow.

            Yes, and yes.

I do believe you're right about those columns - they don't look like they're gonna support much.

Thanks, but 'style' is too big of a word, I'm afraid. I am growing quite interested in this sort of npr stuff, as it is a lot of fun to do, and produces rather pleasing results.

If anyone knows of good tutorials on texturing, painting and such with Photoshop, drop a link below. I already know about Mateo's blog and the dvd Kemp Remillard did for Massive Black (I should get that one!). While I'm at it, does anyone know of tutorials on reading architectural plans?

Wee update. Had to start from scratch as I managed to overwrite the original skp. I'm smart. Next I'm gonna take this into Modo and see if I can make this look like an actual, somewhat sloppy cardboard model. Check back in two years or so.

Nice! I don't know why, but the last one says "anime" to me...

Those look cool, one day in the future these days will be regarded as your 'dark period'.

Obviously such fame comes with a price, normally your life. πŸ˜•

lol. If anything'll kill me, it's smoking. Fame works wonders for your health, and various other things. Two words: Hugh Hefner.

70's porn, that's what it reminds me of.

                                  Did someone mention 70's porn?
I love that, ever since I found my dad's magazines (that I wasn't supposed to find) when I was a kid ('Paris-Vegas' was a great one).
The black censorship blocks were really big in that pre-brazilian era.

I love those last images by the way Stinkie.
They are more dynamic because of the rotated viewpoint, but isn't that the opposite of what you were trying to achieve? (i.e taking out all human interaction)

These are merely about me trying out every single button in Photoshop, I'm afraid. πŸ˜‰
