I frequently use WINGS3d , and it has some interesting useful tools, and one of them is "uniform scale" that u can apply over separated faces... all faces are scaled due to their normal( not the world axes) the same amount , and it would be useful , to prevent repetative scale over several faces whitin SU

Hmm, I've made a plugin that takes and groups every face as its own group.

I've also made a plugin that will do the type of scaling you are asking for, but to groups.

So you could select the faces you want, run the first plugin and make them all groups. Then run the 2nd plugin and do the scaling over all of them. Then explode them afterwards if you would like.

Seems like that is a recipe for a very messy model though. Whaty advantage does scaling each face separately give? Have a good image that shows whats its useful for?

wings approach is a bit different ( you have 4 mod, point, lines, faces and body) and each time you can work on that type of the model elements.
          here is a mobl model

Hehehee, yes that makes sense and is completely different than what my mind was seeing. Thanks for the image.

That might already be possible with Fredo's freescale plugin? If not, it is possible to make.

Seems Fredoscale don't make that πŸ˜‰
Your "Scale and rotate multiple" is near the solution, except it work with "groups" πŸ˜‰

thanx Chris and Pilou for considering,... maybe a tweak over "multiple S R" plugin is the solution , or maybe adding some option to it!..
also maybe thaking a look wings 3d gives many inspirations
