Very strange, just double checked mine and its definitely 1.8.0

I wonder if having ruby installed makes any difference?

                SketchUp does come with 1.8.0.

I just copied the .dll from my Ruby installation into SketchUp folder. Workdsgreat; although I am not recommending this in any way.

Ruby Version 1.9 is supposed to be faster than 1.8, when the installer for 1.9 comes out, I'm going to try that.

                Hi

I thought 1.9.1 was already out. Is it not really put together into an installer package yet?

                  Chris

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.

indeed it is out, you can get it by clicking the following link: ftp://ftp.ruby-lang.org/pub/ruby/binaries/mswin32/ruby-1.9.1-p0-i386-mswin32.zip

Is there any advantage to the average user to having a newer version of ruby?

Now that I think about it, but I doubt you can get SU to link to Ruby 1.9. It's probably hard wired for 1.8.

                      Hi
