CAT experiment - Save your cables from being chewed away
-
Ok, I did this experiment for about two weeks:
I hung two cellphone charger cables from a desk, one of them covered with grey electrical tape.
After the two weeks, the cable covered with tape was not chewed at all, while the other one had several cat teeth marks.Try it at home with non-crucial cables, and let me know your results.
My CAT system is:
One unit
Female
White
Odd-eyed
Half-persian
8 months old. Please post yout CAT specs too together with your results of the experiment.
BTW, I posted this here because cables are hardware. -
This is very important info actually (so IMO this is really the right place - Eric aka "Boofredlay" may confirm).
My girlfriend started to move to my place about a year and a half ago. Hasn't fully finished moving yet and one reason is that she has 3 CAT brand pieces of hardware and she hasn't dared to mention to move them yet. I'm afraid that within another year and a half, she will somehow "convince" me that keeping another apartment just for the CAT's is kind of luxury (especially during these hard economic times). I'm also afraid that I could not convince her that we should find another solution than moving the CAT's to my place so any good tips are welcome!

Gai...much better to have the cats move to your place than you to theirs: unless, of course, you like pee and poo in your shoe :`(
Miguel...I have one cat that chews cords and one that shreads tape (no cardboard box is sealed for long): so I guess I'm double-teamed out of luck once again :`)
