      Is there such a ruby? One that will allow you to use a shortcut to recall the last tool you were using so that when you switch to select mode, you can bounce right back to the prior tool? It would be more convenient than adding and remembering shortcuts for all my tools.

          Sutool allow user use several_keys as a shortcut , also allow user press a key to load last used tool.

              A cool way could be that if you press (and hold) the Space bar, it would only temporarily switch to the select tool (as long as you keep it pressed) and when released, it would change back to the tool previously used.

              Just hitting the space bar would select the select tool as now.

              Computers should be able to make a distinction between the two ways of using it but I doubt that this could be coded into ruby. 😞
