...whadaya think? Original as-built photo by my client for his website (not at all up to his usual standards...he's usually damn good with his camera) and my PSP manipulation:

Erm... Shouldn't the tree shadows be pointing to another direction, as the sun is coming from the left?

I also think that the original sky works better with the bright sunlight with its harsh contrasts.

Thank you, Anssi, for your candor...I thought someone here would notice :`) Same thing I said to my client but since they were mostly cast over the ridge he said "fake it" and I agreed the image, though incorrect, looked better with the shadows breaking up the forground.

          Good eye!

First I think the sky works with the lighting. The original photo has a lone cloud that look odd so the new is better and a bit warmer.
About the cropping of the image it looks like it need more at the bottom. With the perspektive of the house it just doesnt look right the way it is. The trees look very 3d to me. I dont know if they are but I think that if you should add trees you should use photographic trees that looks more real.
Finally, what is this? Is it the customers factory? And why have trees in the image if they are not there in reality?
A final thought, I think the image could need some kind of focuspoint and live item. Maybe a bird flying by or people having lunchbreak or something...
