My first real render with V-Ray

Here is my first render worth posting. The V-Ray learning curve is shorter than I expected.

Nice work Jeff. I would count always having to do a little tweaking to your vray renders. Generally playing with the Levels, Tone and Color Balance in a photo editor will do the trick.
Here's your render after a little bit of photoshop tweaking (hope you don't mind)

did yu use hdri here? or just normal lighting? i think you need to work out more on the materials. explore some of the vismats available here and there.

Thanks Guys,
I don't mind any tips, so don't be shy. No HDRI image, just a jpeg as a background. No extra lighting added. Still learning but will get there.
Cheers, Jeff -
ok use hdri then and do not use the camera. its easier to tweak hdri without using the physical camera. but if you opt to use the physical camera you need to put the multiplier of hdri way way high so that it will show. but since you are new with it i will recommend of not using the physical camera. use the hdri as light source and background as well.
i dont know if you are using the new 1.5 verison or the old one... if you are using the new one, it has more visit available there.
