Is there a way, via Ruby, to change the check boxes of "Properties to Save" for a Scene or a Selection of Scenes withOUT modify to EXISTING properties of the Scene(s)?

For example Scene 1 remembers the Camera Location. Scenes 2 and 3 merely toggles the visibility of layers (this done basically to save the person that is opening and viewing a model from manually turning layers on and off via the Layer Manager).

Now, is there a way, to add a check box to "Camera Location" for Scenes 2 and 3 without modifying the existing camera location of the scenes remembered in the saved file?

What I want to accomplish is to give a neophyte-user the ability to save a camera location for Scenes 2 and/or 3 but ONLY do so when they right-click on the Scene Tab and choose "update" from the context menu.
