Comics; my first try

Hello,
I am a comics designer in belgium, and i use sketchup to help me for drawing backgrounds.
after many tries this is my first render with vray of a model (fiat topolino) i made for my comics:"Seuls" in Belgium and France.
And a strip whith this car, skup is very helpfull to draw comics!!!
Thanks for all you guys in here sharing pictures,models, tutorials and plugins!!

great looking model.. def keep working at the paint material on the car though..seems too shiney to me? especially for an older car...and everythign seems to have the same level of glossiness..good start though.
i build models for comic backgrounds too

WoW So ketchup is even helpfull for drawing in 2d, such as comics as you say!
That's great, maybe ill try something in photoshop with a SU model ! -

Thanks Wheay,
first, i choose my point of view in Skup of what i want to draw, then i export and print the image file,i add some details and characters,
after that i ink the background, cars and characters on another paper whith the help of a light table.So for the final result, you just need this old good paper, pencil, and hand!
Colors are made in Photoshop.here my work on the printed image.
The bus is also made in SKup.
