Hello to everyone on this forum,
Altough I've been following all the models
that have been posting here for the past 3-4 months
    i registered today... ๐Ÿ˜›

So as the title says I'm working on a (it should be huge)
high quality component pack. It'll include a very wide
variety of models, from chairs to garagedoors and from
modern interior table's to rustic exterior lamps.
I've been working on this 2days in the little bit of
    spare time I've had.

Here some more details on the quality and flexibility of
    the components:

-Rounded edges (makes it look more real in renders + it gives softer edges)
-Every part has been assembled in a group (easy for texturing and render setup)
-Made in the needed detail (not to much to slow down the rendering process but
neither to low detail for fake look)
-High quality textures including bumpmap if needed (it's coming along..)

    Here some simple SU outputs:

    Exterior Lamps

    Coffee Table's

    Diner Table's

    And an overall view:

Note that these "collections" aren't finished yet

Well the final idea is to make about +300 components with an easy to use
catalog that directs you immediately to the right file ;]
Than asking a "once in a lifetime price" (about โ‚ฌ50) while the
pack keeps updating you don't have to pay any additional costs
for downloading the "update" with newer and more components.

I would like to know if these things sound interesting to you modelers,
or you say "nah, I prefer to search down the 3D Warehouse for a decent model
and than edit it to be good enough to render"

    P.S.
Well I hadn't got a lot of time now, so I'm
sorry if things aren't explained to well, I'll update
the text within some days.. depends when I got time ;]

    Grats..

      Hi FoXar,

Nice models to start with. ๐Ÿ‘ and of course, welcome to SCF!

As for they bearing an value for users, I'd say definitely. While there are very good models in the WH as well, they are sometimes hard to find so somebody with a lack of time would probably be interested in such a collection.

And hey, if ou have only 100 subscriptions altogether, that's alread $ 5,000 and you haven't worked in vain! ๐Ÿ˜‰

      Gai...
